1. Who we are

Seekr is an online CV builder operated by [company legal name], based in Damascus, Syria. In this policy, "we" means Seekr and "you" means anyone who uses the website.

2. What we collect

• Account details: your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile picture from Google.
• Your CV content: everything you type or upload into a CV, such as your name, job title, contact details, photo, work history, education, skills, links and references.
• Other people's details: if you add references, you share their name and contact details with us. Only add people who agreed to be listed.
• Technical data: your browser stores small pieces of data so you stay signed in and so a CV you start as a guest isn't lost. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security.

We don't use advertising trackers and we don't sell your data.

3. How we use it

• To create your account and sign you in.
• To save your CVs, show them to you on any device, and create PDF or image files when you download them.
• When you use the writing assistant, to send the text you chose to our AI provider and return suggestions to you.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To send you sign-in emails and important notices about your account.

4. Who processes it

We use these providers to run Seekr. They process your data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase stores your account and CVs and sends sign-in emails. Its servers are currently in the United States.
• Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google".
• Google (Gemini API), only the text you send to the writing assistant. [If you use Gemini's free tier, Google may use this text to improve its products — state that here, or move to the paid tier before launch.]

We may share data if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users.

5. How long we keep it

• Your account and CVs are kept for as long as your account exists.
• When you delete a CV, it's hidden right away (so you can undo) and permanently removed after 30 days.
• When you delete your account, your account and all your CVs are deleted immediately. Backups made before that may keep a copy for up to [7] days.
• A CV you start without an account stays only in your browser until you sign in or clear your browser data.

6. Your choices and rights

• See and edit your data at any time in the CV builder.
• Download any CV as a PDF or image.
• Delete a single CV, or your whole account from the bottom of the My CVs page.
• Contact us for any other request about your data.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Database rules make sure each account can only read and change its own CVs. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep access to your email account safe.

8. Children

Seekr is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For important changes, we'll tell you by email or on the website before they take effect.
